With article marketing, companies place articles containing keywords and a bio at the end into article directories. This helps boost the website’s rank on Google and directs traffic to their site. This can be quite lucrative for a good writer because this is an ongoing thing and often companies will need several articles each month. If you work it well, you can have several ongoing clients depositing money into your account on a monthly basis.
Writing keyword articles for article marketing is probably the most common job you’ll find when you look to write for online business. These pay anywhere from $2-20, so be careful you don’t go too low. Unless the article is only 50 words long, it’s not worth less than $5, so make sure you get paid what your writing is worth.
Writing online is an excellent way to earn a little extra cash on the side. You can actually earn a living at it, if you really want to, but it does take time to build up both your reputation and your client base. If your writing is consistently excellent and on time, you should have no problem building a business with online writing. People are desperate for articles, so it’s not difficult to find someone who will pay you. Eventually, you will be able to raise your prices and be pickier about which projects you take on.
Online writing isn’t an overnight money maker, but you can be earning fairly quickly. Most people who understand the techniques for finding work can be up and running and getting paid within the first week or two. All you need is a little talent and you can write for online businesses and turn out all their article marketing content for them.
