Therefore, all employees who work in dangerous machinery must receive appropriate guidance in safety procedures and first aid. They must also have necessary safety devices and protective equipments as a precautionary measure. Due to accidents at work, compensation is available to employees for physical injury or death from the management with the help of accident claims. Health policies also enable the workers to undertake medical treatment in hospitals without any cash obligations. The worker can claim compensation for physical injury, disability, loss of wages, medical expenses, pain and employer’s carelessness. To avail compensation claims, the employee or the management must report the accident to the police force, insurance and legal authorities within the stipulated period.

If the worker consumes alcohol or drugs during the time of accident at work, he is not liable for any compensation claims. Therefore, safety management training and protective equipments are essential for organizations to protect the health of employees in the workplace along with preventive tips for illness, which results in production loss.
