The output of all the programmers in the world is shifting it's target platform. A while ago, many people started programming for the game consoles instead of the PC, now those not into making games are also getting away from the world of PC, because the world of smartphones is getting more and more demanding for new software. How can this be? Well, there are many different operating systems on smartphones, Nokia, iPhone, Blackberry, Palm, Windows Mobile devices, Android phones all have different operating systems, requiring applications written exclusively for the platform. Some even have their own publishing model, like the iPhone, Anroid and now Nokia and others, allowing the company to control which software gets developed for it's device. So many, many companies are racing to have their devices do everything the competition does, and more, and there is a lot of work to be done. Nokia has done the Ovi application shop and included it in the newest mobile phone it put out, the N97.

It has a touchscreen, which Nokia's smartphones didn't have until now, a slideout qwerty keyboard, also a first, 32GB of storage memory, a huge screen and battery... and much, much more. It is much faster than the competition, the iPhone and the likes, has better software but also is more expensive. But it is the best Nokia that ever appeared. And when competition floods the market with similar products, the prices will go down, and Nokia will be in the lead again. The only real competitor for those who demand a stable computer system out of their mobile phones, the Google Android platform, does not have many phones in offer but is still a great choice for programmers. For others wanting a mobile phone with a good operating system, and with a camera they can really use, there is the N97. The best Nokia.

The only Nokia phone to have a slideout keyboard and the S60 operating system. A media player, camera, GPS, phone, video phone, internet browser, camcorder, and netbook, and game console, and notebook with pencil, and a stereo alarm radio, with it you only need a WiFi hotspot and a refrigerator in your house.
