The Headset Phone offers Hands Free Mobility and Range of Motion at Home or at Work

Just several days after I got my new Headset Phone where I work I had the following somewhat strange experience. I woke up before the alarm went off, that in itself is strange for me, and realized my neck was hurting. I remembered the last thing I had done the night before was to listen to my daughter on my cell, as she complained about two of the midterm grades she had gotten in school. While listening to her, I was researching possible new office locations online for my boss. As I didn't want to let my daughter know I wasn't listening as intently to her as I might normally, I sat a slight distance back from the keyboard with my cell phone tucked between my shoulder and my ear. I typed quietly and, as best as I could, and juggled the two things simultaneously. It didn't feel at all physically uncomfortable at the time but, upon awakening I had this kink in my neck.

Now I like a little kink in my life from time to time (just kidding) but particularly not in my neck. I found I was actually sitting and even walking with my head tilted to the side so as not to move my bobble head in the wrong direction. Then it hit me like a shooting pain in my neck, or wherever. I had just gotten this really cool new headset phone from work. I talk with my hands a lot, so I was really happy to be able to express myself more fully with my customers at work due to my newfound freedom because of my new headset phone.

I had also signed up for a new program at work which would allow me to take work calls on my home phone by appointment when people were calling me back or simply found it more convenient to speak later in the evening. Clearly this would make a new headset phone for my work-at-home use a fully tax deductible business expense, I reasoned! I went to my computer and typed telephone headsets into the Google search. There it was, my exact phone from work, I saw there were even more headset phone options and types than I had imagined, I read the various descriptions, made a couple quick decisions and in just a few more moments I was ordering my new home headset phone.

My neck was starting to feel better already. My phone was going to have two different ways of attaching to either my head or ear. I chose a really small lightweight model so as not to take up too much room on my desk or feel heavy on my ear. I even got the noise reduction option, hoping it might help reduce background noise for those stealthy, dual attention calls like the call from my daughter and especially those early morning conference calls from work which mostly require muffling yawns. That is when it occurred to me. I should invent the first headset phone with a built in yawn muffler. I'll be rich!
