Extreme Camping

If you are planning a camping holiday, be careful. Reminiscence is one thing, living in the present another. A cheap holiday with mates means you are thrown together with no way of escaping from each other. Differences of opinion are inevitable. Complications could involve sleeping arrangements and what food to cook. That said, if you are good friends, the upside will be the collection of humorous anecdotes. If you are over sixteen and planning a camping holiday with boy-scouts you need help. Choosing a camping holiday with a loved one can lead to problems similar to those encountered when camping with friends, with extras thrown in. For example, tents are not sound proof, and if you use a light-source, your night-time activities will be projected in silhouette for all to see. As for a return-to-nature camping holiday, the terrain will decide whether your nights are angst-ridden or peaceful. Choosing a pitch in the glorious Rockies will soon lead to you becoming an expert in bear-attack statistics, whilst camping in the south of France should be a lot more relaxing.
What should be clear is that a camping holiday will be more incident-filled than a stay in a hotel. It will also be cheaper, which means more money for fun and interest. And, whilst a tent is less luxurious than a suite at the Hilton, once asleep they become equal. In addition a tent is highly portable, which means that if you think are dissatisfied with your surroundings, for whatever reason, a solution is at hand.
So, there really are valid reasons to choose camping over more civilised holiday making. It is a holiday style choice. Everybody should try a camping holiday; it will be possible to dine out on it one day.
