People are already planning Xmas and with only a handful of paydays left than who can blame them. After all it will be the people who sort their festive trips away sooner will have much more choice then those who risk a last minute solution. With so many choices on offer you may find that you don't know which way to turn. Yet there is always a favorite location for many families in the winter months as well as the height of the summer.

Cornwall is home for a great destination for anyone looking for something which offers a homely feel away from home. The Cornish countryside is a great place to rest and relax in stunning surroundings that offer some picturesque views. What better way to celebrate Xmas with a loved one and the family in a beautiful Cornish cottage that offers a quaint village atmosphere and an open log fire.

A traditional Xmas dinner is nicely complimented with a stunning walk around the local area and provides a great chance to get some fresh air and appreciate the location of some of these wonderful Cornish getaways. The welcoming atmosphere of a local cottage is much appreciated after completing a brisk walk in the natural Cornish weather and for those looking for more of a challenge can always tackle the beaches. A nice walk with the family and a run around for the dog is a great way to burn off a few of those festive calories.

To welcome in the festivities the local village of Mousehole turns the lights on each year and has become something of an attraction. However if you are looking for something a little more daring than when not try the Xmas day dip, an event where the most courageous strip down to their swimming attire and run in to the more than often icy waters of the local beaches.

Snow may even be on the agenda and you might be able to experience a white Xmas as it is not unheard of receiving snow at that time of year.

So don't miss out and get looking now. A holiday and a festive celebration may only be a few months away.
