There are a lot of various camping destinations throughout England and around the world, however one of the most popular by far has to be a holiday in France. Many people find camping in England somewhat similar to what they already know, yet do not what to spend a vast amount of money travelling to a far off land just to get a different sense of culture and environment. France is only a short distance away and with the Euro tunnel, ferry and cheap flights, is extremely easy to get to. There are many different holiday parks in France offering great French scenery and culture, different to that of England. When camping in France you needn't have to spend a great deal to experience a more sunnier and high temperature climate as many different parts of France offer various climates that can mirror that of the Mediterranean. You can experience the joys of French cuisine and French countryside as well as making excursions to the more cosmopolitan city's, experiencing French dining and the famous sites. Furthermore many campsites are situated right near France's favourite cities so you can relish in between the fine lines of the beautiful beaches, forests and mountains and the bustling city lights.

Many campsites in France offer great on site amenities, such as your basic shower room and bathroom, as well as cafe's, small food stores and some form of leisure centre that can include swimming pools, gym's, sauna's etc. These effectively give you all the basic luxuries of a hotel but at a much cheaper price. Once on the campsites you can try the many activities that surround you, such as canoeing, white water rafting or even much simpler activities such as biking. You can even follow the hundreds of nature trails that will take you around Frances beautiful woodlands and waterfalls effectively bringing you and your family closer to nature then ever before.

It is true that to get the most out of a family holiday, you do not have to spend a great deal to experience different types of scenery, and with the many holiday park and camping site offers in France it seems only natural to pitch up your tent and be one with nature!
