Within about an hour of Las Cruces are several little historic ghost towns which many people enjoy visiting. There are also a variety of farmers markets and craft markets for those that enjoy that kind of environment. Visitors and residents of the area also enjoy the many wineries which dispersed throughout the surrounding areas.
