Brothers &Sisters: A tragic car accident concludes Season 4

There are times when Brothers and Sisters DVD set is so melodramatic that it is hard to take it seriously. Yet, there are times, like Sunday, when that melodrama leaves one near crying.
On May 16, the fourth season of Brothers and Sisters DVD boxset had a tragic ending. A car accident occurred during the last minute of the show. Many members of the Walker family were injured and nearly dead.
Having all gathered together at a country home, the family members begin their journeys home in multiple cars.
Soon, all of the cars, excepting the car in which Justin and Rebecca are traveling, are involved in a multiple car crash. The pile-up crash is unseen by viewers, and, although the involvement of a truck is briefly mentioned, the contrived crash simply looks like a game of bumper cars broke out on the highway.
Nonetheless, the accident provides the series with its inevitable summer cliffhangers, so what happened to which passengers?
Car 1 – Nora, Sarah and Holly: Although Nora and Sarah are moving around, apparently unharmed and unexamined by medical teams, Holly is badly injured, unconscious, and trapped in their car.
Car 2 – Kevin, Scotty and Saul: Each appear to be noticeably injured, but the life-threatening revelation which arises from this set of passengers is when wounded Kevin is prevented by Saul from touching his uncle’s blood.
The implication is obviously that, despite prior protestations of testing negative, Saul has tested positive for HIV or AIDS, although it is also possible that he faked the call, and having not yet received his results, he does not wish to put his nephew at risk of being infected.
Car 3 – Kitty and Robert: In the show’s tradition of “Everything happens to Kitty,” the character has already suffered the loss of her father on Brothers and Sisters DVD set, suffered a miscarriage and discovered that she cannot have children, and having just survived a battle with cancer, although she appears uninjured, her husband appears to be fatally wounded.
Brothers and Sisters Seasons 1-3 DVD boxset 2010 was dramatic as Walker family has to come to terms with the death of one of their loved ones and Kitty Walker overcoming cancer.
Even before the episode, it was known that at least one person of the family will die. But it was a big secret that who will die? Everyone was guessing over who will die in the episode? Robert, Saul, or Scotty.
Whether holly has lived or died, if Saul is definitely HIV positive, and how Justin and Rebecca have found living apart, are questions which will have to be answered in the Brothers and Sisters DVD.
