How to play : At the start of this game each player has sixteen pieces in which one is king, one queen, two rocks, two knights, two bishops and eight pawns. The board has 8 rows called ranks and 8 columns called files. The color of the square boxes on the board is alternate like some of them are light and rest are of dark color. White pieces move first then players move one by one pieces in alternate manner. Pieces are moved to unoccupied squares of opponent's side. When two pieces are moved simultaneously then castling happens. When a king is under attack of opponent's pieces then this is called check situation. Try to move the king in opposite direction to secure it from attack. The objective of Chess is to checkmate the opponent member and it occurs only when competitor's king is in check state. Time ranges for long chess games is near about seven hours including one hour for each game and for shorter is two or three hours including fifteen minutes for each player.
