Thus, in order to avoid this problem, one needs to have a blend of a good paper, good printer and also a good ink. So, here are few tips which would help us to avoid the fading of our photographs.

1.Find a good quality printer
The primary thing which one needs to ensure is to find a printer which is of good quality so that your digital photos remain with you forever. Epson, HP and Canon provide some good quality printers. Other models which you can search for is Kodak EasyShare.
2.Choose a good paper
The next thing which one needs to make sure is to choose a good printer paper so that one can easily avoid the photo fading. It would be good if we would select a paper that works well with the printer. For example HP printers would normally have HP paper that fits well with their printer. If you really choose a paper that actually suits your printer than you can easily ensure the good quality of prints and can certainly avoid fading of your photographs.
3.Keep prints in an album
The best way to preserve your digital photos is to keep them always in an album. Maintaining them in this manner would help to preserve them better and also it would make a lesser exposure towards fading.
4.Exhibit photos in frames
If you want to display your images, it would be good to put them in frames. Do not expose the photos in open air. This would help you to save the photos for longer duration.
5.Store photos away from humid areas and direct sunlight
If you keep the printed photos exposed to humid air or sunlight, then due to some chemical reactions it would definitely fade out. Thus keep the photos away from the heater and attic areas.
6.Ensure that prints are dried out before piling up
When you take out the prints, it’s important that you let them dry before you pile up the photographs. The damage can be caused to one or more of the photos if they are not dried out completely.
