People with Ayurveda Kapha constitution are characterized by their well-developed physiques or bodies. They have the tendency to accumulate excess weight. The chests are generally broad and expanded. Tendons and veins are not obvious due to their uniquely thick skin. Their well-developed muscles make bones appear less prominently.
As for skin types, Kapha people are known for their fair and bright complexions. Their skin is soft, oily, and even lustrous. At times, it could be pale and cold. These people are attractive. Hair is usually dark, thick, soft, and wavy. Eyes are black or blue and dense at the same time. The white portion of the eyes is usually very white, attractive, and large.
Physiologically, these people are enjoying regular appetites. They could have slow digestion, which makes their bodies consume less food. Kapha body types usually crave bitter, pungent, and astringent kinds of food. They could attest to having soft and pale colored stools, with slow bowel movement. Perspiration production and flow is moderate. These people sleep soundly, but prolonged. Due to good stamina, they are generally happy, peaceful, and healthy.
Psychologically, Ayurveda Kapha people are tolerant, forgiving, calm, and loving. They could easily exhibit traits of attachment, greed, possessiveness, and envy. Comprehension could be slow but definite. You could notice that once they get to understand any concept, they could easily retain that knowledge. This way, Kapha people easily tend to be wealthy in the long run. They could work hardly. When they earn money, they are noted for being good at managing and holding it.
Sexually, Kapha people are passionate. Among all the body types, they are known to be the slowest to get aroused. This could be a setback to some. But in most cases, this feature is compensated by their long and lasting endurance when it comes to sexual activities. Again, the tendency to be slow could be genuinely at work. As for relationships with others, people usually describe Kaphas as easy to be with because of their even temper.
As for the setbacks, as mentioned, their metabolism could be slow. Thus, when they indulge in food frequently, they could get overweight. Some people characterize Ayurveda Kapha people as slow-moving. They have a relaxed demeanor due to their solid body mass. Because of their innate tendency to move slowly, they could be sluggish, both physically and mentally. Most of the time, Kapha peoples’ balanced experiences are easily lost in undue sentimentality and apathy.
Kapha people could be slow learners, but as mentioned, once they learn, retention of knowledge is very high. They tend to not easily forget, hence, they have outstandingly longer-term memory. They could be prone to oppressive depressions. Still, on their negative traits, they could be very possessive to hold on to most things, like money and people. However, they could be effective money savers. Usual ailments and physical problems include congestion, colds, sinus headaches, and other respiratory problems like wheezing, asthma, and hay fever. Ayurveda Kapha people are also usually more prone to allergies as well as atherosclerosis or hardening of the arteries in the heart.
