Having a sexual problem is nothing new to any of us, but it is something that we as a sufferer don’t dare to talk openly with others. But there are some problems which needs attention in advance and special kind treatment to avert any kind of serious damage to the sexual activities.

One type of problem is Undescended testes. These are the testes that have not fallen into the scrotum. At the time of the fetal stage of development, the testes instead of having in the scrotum are in the body. As male children grow, the testes descend from the body to the scrotum for proper maturation and function. There are two types of undescended testes which are called ectopic and cryptorchid. Ectopic testes are outside the normal route of descent. Cryptorchid testes are in the proper route of descent, but descent has been stopped before the testes reached the scrotum. And with the help of testicular surgery, undescended testes are treated.

Next condition where testicular surgery is immediately recommended is Testicular torsion. It is a kind of developmental defect in the tissues of the scrotum that lets the testes to move around within the scrotum. This results in the blood vessels around other tubes in the scrotum to become wrapped around each other, ensuing blood supply to the testes bring cut off. The problem is mostly observed in young teens and the major symptoms include pain, nausea, and scrotal swelling. When torsion is observed, surgery should be immediately considered to avoid any kind of serious problem.

Another condition which is one of the most serious among these above problems is called Carcinoma of the testes. The condition is a medical term for cancer of the testicles. Carcinoma of the testes is the second most common cancer for males between ages 20-35, moreover accounts for 1-2% of all cancers in all males. And, there is various type of cancer that can damage the testes. To treat the testes cancer, the mass of tissue of suspected cancerous cells is removed surgically.

Apart from that testicular implant surgery is also performed for testicular enlargement (enhancement). It is a process to better fill the scrotum using testicular implants which are ovoid in shape and are placed in front of your existing testes. Rather than a fluff bag appearance of the scrotum created by scrotal fillers, the pleasing contours of two well represented gonads are noticeable. Also men that have very small, non-functioning testis may be candidates for a testicular implant, all for cosmetic reason.
