We all know smoking is injurious to health and to quit smoking is really a difficult task. The addiction of smoking takes many lives every year worldwide. Although death rate due to smoking and diseases caused by smoking is very high people are not ready to quit smoking. The first and the fore most threat to human beings is the cancer. Smoking causes mouth, lung cancer. Vaporizers are a good substitute of smoking. In smoking the smoke is inhaled while in vaporizers just the vapors of the plant are inhaled. As the vapors do not go into the lungs thus the studies show that the risks of lung cancer are reduced. Also the person sitting next to vaporizer user does not inhale the smoke as is the case with smoking, so no issue of passive smoking is there. Also the vaporizing action removes the tar from the smoke.

All the benefits of using vaporizers come from this property. The main components of the plant are delivered to the vapors. This is done by heating the herb to a temperature little lower than the temperature required for combustion. In this way all the smoke and the harmful by products are avoided. There are many factors affecting the output of the vaporizers. Some of them are temperature, density of the specimen, weight of the plant used, water content, uniformity of material in the enclosed space, plant quality used, time for which the vapor is stored and method by which the vapors are inhaled. The longer the vapor is stored the shorter are the effects. Thus the condensation part also affects the vapor output. Different plants need different heating temperatures to give vapors. Like the Clove needs to be heated at one hundred and fifty degree Celsius temperature, Dandelion is heated at one hundred and twenty five degree Celsius to one hundred and fifty degree Celsius temperature, lavender is heated at a little lower temperature that is at around one hundred degree Celsius temperature, Peppermint, Sage, Saint johns wart, Passion flower, Thyme and Meadowsweet are heated at one hundred to one hundred and fifty degree Celsius temperature. Tobacco needs to be heated at one hundred and twenty degree Celsius temperature to one hundred and fifty degree Celsius temperature. Plants like Aloe Vera, Evening primrose, Garlic, Ginger, Ginseng and Licorice need to be heated to a fairly higher temperature. They require heating at one hundred and seventy five degree Celsius temperature to two hundred degree Celsius temperature. If the plant material or the herb is not heated to the required temperature we cannot extract vapors properly and the residue level will also rise. This will result in more cost and the user will be getting vapors which can be contaminated with pollutants.
