This is useful for kids that seem to consistently break the rules or drive recklessly. Yet it may be best as a last resort, and always with the driver's knowledge.

If a teenager finds that he has been tracked without his knowledge, it will only increase distrust and hostility in the household. To confront a teen with their wrongdoing, it will be necessary to admit that there is a GPS tracking system in the car.
