When you plan a vacation, one of the first things you consider is where to stay. One of the greatest parts about traveling in England is the variety of options for your accommodations. Depending on your preference, chances are you can find the perfect travel accommodations for your holiday trip. Consider the following options:

Hotels:

Probably the most obvious option for your holiday trip is to stay in a hotel. Britain has over 6,000 hotels. There are low budget hotels and luxury 5-star hotels. So, you will be able to find whatever type you are looking for. And, there are hotels everywhere in England, so no matter where you go, you can find a hotel to stay in. The great thing about a hotel is that it is easy to find, you have maid service, and usually a good location. However, often it is not as flexible of an environment for your family. Hotels are set up very standard.

Cottages

Cottages are very traditional of English culture. Staying in one is a fun way to experience part of the heritage of Britain. And, there are over 2,000 self-catering cottages that you can hire for your holiday. They are located in many areas of England, however if you decide to go somewhere more remote, you may not be able to find a cottage. And, you also do not get someone to clean up after you. But, you get more privacy and more space.

Caravans

There are actually over 1,900 Caravan Parks throughout Britain. These places are a great option to stay if you want to experience nature and if you are more into the outdoors. They are not as fancy as a hotel, however they are often located in beautiful areas. So, if you want to be outside that is the upside. This is not the best option for your accommodations if you are looking to travel to the city.

Holiday Parks

This is an increasingly popular travel accommodation. Why? The chances are that you have many different ages in your party. It is often hard to cater to the preferences of everyone on a holiday. The holiday park helps with this by providing fun attractions for all age groups. It also has everything you would need on site. There are many in great travel areas. The only downside is you may not want to leave the resort. So, you may not see much of the area you came to visit.
