3. Air Conditioning. This is a real problem and not a myth, use the air conditioning system only when it's needed and you could save some fuel.

4. Alternative Fuels: Use as much ethanol or bio-diesel as you can. Why? Well let's see. What is ethanol? Ethanol or E85 as you will find it at the gas stations is derived from the blend of two fuels: 85% ethanol and 15% petroleum.

Vehicle power is increased if you use E85 up to 2-4%, it reduces emissions, holding tank is bigger than the normal one so you can store more fuel, 1.4 gallons of E85 is equal to 1 gallon gasoline and the most important thing is that the fuel is renewable. What is bio-diesel? Bio-diesel is a fuel which replaces the normal diesel and it is made from vegetable oil.

Unlike other fuels bio-diesel can be used without any modifications at your engine. Always keep in mind that using one of these fuels will stop pollution and will save the nature. If you will remember these tips and apply them every day you should save some money during a year.
