There are three different manners through which you can configure MS Outlook. These include IMO (Internet Mail Only), Corporate or Workgroup, and No E-mail. IMO and Corporate or Workgroup are the most commonly used configurations of the application. In earlier versions of MS Outlook, you can set up Outlook to a MAPI compatible mail server; whereas modern configurations can be used for connecting to different ISP and underlying SMTP, POP3, and IMAP mail servers.
