These are effective techniques because of the fact that it searches for suspicious or unknown program characteristics. This form of detection is very good in the fact that it can help and find viruses which can be hard to find or are not known. A file analysis is a very effective tool which is used by antivirus software. It searches the entire hard drive. The only major problem with using this method for getting rid of viruses is the fact that this operation takes up a lot of resources from your computer, which results in the user not being able to use the computer when this is going on.
