Motivating children is challenge faced by most teachers today. Each class has a wide set of children who vary in their learning style and have different interests. It is the teachers ability to figure out individual learning styles and interests of students; thus making learning more fun and meaningful all at the same time.Being a teacher i think its my responsibility to come up with creative ideas to make curriculum more interesting.It has been a proven fact that visual factor plays a very important role in learning and memorizing details. So, I have been encouraging my students to use digital tools that provides a platform to create flashcards, videos and photos for effective learning. Students enjoy creating flashcards with photos and videos and are also learning in the process.
The goal should always be to enhance child's learning abilities and confidence while at the same time preserving the relationship with your child. Such learning methodologies creates a sense of “self directed” learning and problem solving attitude among students. usage of such digital tools which will give students a wider perspective on the topics to be learned and increase their confidence levels.A balanced combination of online education and proper guidance of class room education can get the best out of students.
