• Add more images – Looking at some corporate folder designs today, you will see that most are a bit shy in using images. The most common things that you will see are company logos, project logos, or maybe even just a color pattern. While this is well in good in the corporate environment, you can actually be a little bit more creative and add more images into the custom folder design.
Since presentation folders are meant to impress people, then you can actually put in full color photographs into these folders. If you compose the photographs right, in a way that supports the theme of the presentation, it can in fact drive the presentation's message home for some people. You can even add in a collage of images as long as it is well organized clean and simple. So don't be stuck in using simple shapes, colors and logos. Try out a few good photographs, it might make your presentation folders more special.
• Adopt better fonts – You can also take advantage of some better fonts to make presentation folders more interesting. Again, looking at the typical corporate presentation folder today, most fonts in use are bland, simple and just uninteresting. If you have heard about typography and typographical art, you will know that you can enhance your fonts in a more artistic level to make your custom folders look better. Instead of just a plane text stating the name of your project, you can actually print the text in a font that best describes the theme of it.
For example, if the theme is a bit classical you might want to try Roman type or Greek type fonts. If your presentation has a more modern, grunge type theme, then you might want to try dirtier more abstract type fonts. Don't worry, this is acceptable in presentations as long as you keep to the theme. People will remember your presentation folders better this way.
• More than just one fold – Finally, you should also think a little bit out of the box and extend your concept of a presentation folder. Folders don't just have to have one fold. It can actually have many folds to accommodate all you need into a presentation kit or project report. In fact you can add in extra folds, extra pockets, straps, slits and many other types of structures. People actually can be quite impressed if you have a well organized presentation folder with individually customized places for each report document and material. So if you have lots of things to give away to your audience, why not make it more interesting for them and add a few interesting folder structures. Just ask your folder printer if they can do that with your folder prints.
So open up your mind! There are lots of things you can do with your presentation folders. Your report or presentation can be more memorable that you can imagine.
