Remember when all bras looked and felt the same and you hardly had any different choices? You would buy one, maybe two and only replace them when they were virtually falling apart. Now all that has changed and you can find such a diverse array of choices that it can boggle the mind. I know I go shopping with my wife and we go into Victoria's Secret, (yes I am comfortable in my manhood), I am amazed by the all of the different styles and colors available. I would never attempt to buy her a bra even though I will buy other lingerie for her.

These days many women have their own collections of all kinds of different styles and colors for nearly any kind of occasion or situation. There are bras that are specifically for work only and then others that may be sexier for wearing for nights on the town and then others like sports bras for wearing when exercising. Over the last couple of decades there have been major advances in the technology for making bras as well as in the number of companies making them.

One type of bra that has become very popular is the razorback which came into being due to the popularity of spaghetti strap tank tops and dresses. Another type that has become in great demand is the push up and underwire variety because of all of the styles of tops now that feature a lot of cleavage showing. The technological advances in bra design are really showcased in this type of bra and it is probably the fastest growing segment of the market.

Going right along with the meteoric rise of high fashion lingerie is the explosion of specialty lingerie shops. As little as twenty years ago you would never see a shop that sold only high end lingerie but now they seem to be everywhere. Some of these are divisions of large bra makers and designers that even have their own fashion shows on TV and online. That is definitely not something we would have seen two decades ago. The combination of the FCC loosening their rules a little and the existence of companies that have the foresight to put on these shows has brought this to pass. Victoria's Secret even has an event that they put on during Super Bowl half time that has proven to be extremely popular.

It doesn't matter what type of bra you need now you can find any color, any size, and any style for work, play, or exercise. I recommend checking online for the largest selection.
